Found Mat's hot sauce stand at the Makers market after searching for a real hot sauce that wasn't watered down in spice and flavour like most hot sauces on the market. I pride myself on my high spice tolerance and Cherry Cherry Bang! Bang! Did not disappoint. To me it has a kick and sweetness i'm really enjoying as my go-to sauce for everything. Will be buying more as im almost done with the bottle - only wish it came in a larger size!

I bought a bottle of Mat’s Hot Shop Jalapeño Hot Sauce. This is just perfect. The full flavour of jalapeños and a nice kick. It’s listed as “mild-medium” - if this is mild, then this is mild-not-for-wussies.
I also got a bottle of Double Trouble Verde, which is a tomatillo-habanero mix. Generally, I do like like the flavour of habaneros, but Mat has done a really nice job using the tomatillos to balance the flavour of the habaneros, making something very nice (I still prefer the Jalapeño Hot sauce better). Notably this one is listed as “medium” spice. To be the 2 are very, very similar.
Mat’s Hot Sauce is a staple in our home and as soon as a bottle gets low we reorder!

Extremely well balanced sauce, with great flavour depth easy on the palate. Doesn’t hit the front of the tongue like the cheaper brands do. Well worth the wait and totally worth the price.

The Mango Habenero Gin hot sauce is delicious, goes with everything, I have it on my eggs Benedict and on a beautiful med rare eye fillet. Not over powering at all. Has a nice subtle burn….love it
Got a bottle today at the big design market and I love this hot sauce! Well balanced and the perfect heat level to add some extra flavour to your meal. Also, the service was fantastic at the market, the staff member took the time to walk me through all the flavour profiles of their range and help me find the perfect match. 10/10 would recommend.
