The Fermentalists - Habanero Fermented Hot Sauce
This is a exclusive small batch edition of The Fermentalists Habanero sauce commissioned by Mat’s Hot Shop. This version contains no xanthan gum compared to the original and is available exclusively at Mat’s Hot Shop. We only stock gum free products and would like to thank The Fermentalists for creating a gum free version of this product for us to stock, it really is an amazing pure habanero hot sauce!
This is a naturally fermented chilli sauce that has not been pasteurised or heat treated so as well as being tasty is full of beneficial bacteria.
The fermented chilli and garlic mash is blended with enough apple cider vinegar to provide a nice amount of heat without being crazy hot. Before blending the vinegar is soaked in toasted American oak barrel chips to add complexity and depth of flavour.
